How my journey began

I have a long and rich history in the sport and also sports presentation, and bring a wealth of experience to any role I undertake.

I began my broadcasting career on community radio 18 years ago, talking all things sports on the live-to-air Sports Drive home in my hometown of Queanbeyan, Australia. It is there that I honed my research and speaking skills bringing a fresh take on all things sports to the Canberra / Queanbeyan region every week.

Following this introduction to broadcasting, I went on to broadcast for national radio network 2GB, on their Canberra affiliate 2CC, write for local and national newspapers, commentate rugby league grand finals and write for blogging websites such as the Roar.

Moving on and it was 10 years ago in 2011 that I began my first foray into the world of professional ring announcing for martial arts. I have since gone on to announce mega fights as part of the National Boxing Series aired live to air on Fox Sports in Australia as well as announce the biggest boxing fights in Australia on Main Event Pay Per View. In 2018, I was chosen to be the ring announcer for the Gold Coast Commonwealth Games Boxing Programme and further demonstrated my ability on the world stage.

Since the Commonwealth Games, I have gone on to work at some of the world’s biggest football tournaments, including:

  • The FIFA Club World Cup UAE 2018, Qatar 2019 and Qatar 2020

  • The AFC Asian Cup UAE 2019

  • The FIFA Women’s World Cup France 2019

  • The AFC Champions League Final 2019

  • CONCACAF Gold Cup 2021

I have also been the ground announcer and match day face for the Western Sydney Wanderers in Australia’s premier football competition the Hyundai A-League. I have worked closely with Real Madrid and River Plate at FIFA Club World Cup events, including interviews with players and coaches as well as international teams at the AFC Asian Cup and FIFA World Cup.

One particular highlight for me was getting to meet and chat football with Real Madrid’s Luka Modric, winner of the Ballon D’or trophy as the world’s best football player in 2018. I am passionate about all sport and have travelled to every continent to experience it, taking in sport from the league and cups of every major code.

Most recently in 2021, I have announced the biggest fights in Australia on Pay Per View in 2021 and was the pitchside announcer for the CONCACAF Gold Cup 2021 in the United States.

I am an international sporting announcer, anchor, presenter, and commentator with a passion for sport and announcing the world’s biggest events.
